Island Pics:

Pictures from my travels before the cruise

birds-eye photo of a pool with a floor with script lettering which reads 'Wish you were here' The hotel pool in Honolulu
selfie taken on the beach in Honolulu of Kaiah and Annette. They stand on the beach with the ocean, city and mountains behind them. A selfie with Annette on the beach in Honolulu
a picture taken on a hotel balcony. There is a small table with an empty take out coffee cup, a laptop, a water bottle, and a book. In the background are a blue sky with fluffy white clouds and tall, light colored hotel and apartment buildings. My hotel balcony in Honolulu where I spent my morning drinking taro-ube coffee, reading, and playing with this website design.
landscape photo of a beach at sunrise Sunrise on Tumon Bay from my balcony in Guam
landscape photo of a beach at sunrise. Same as the previous photo but a little lighter and with softer detail It is so humid here that my camera lense would fog up every few seconds! I had to keep wiping it off to take clear pictures but I think I also like the soft look from the foggy pictures too.
a zoomed in birds eye view photo of a swimmer in the ocean, leaving a wide wake behind them An early morning swimmer in the ocean. I liked seeing the wake trail out behind them.
a zoomed in photo of two people standing in shallow ocean water in the shade of some trees Some people wading in the ocean in the early morning.
a mirror selfie of Kaiah. She holds her pink backpack over one shoulder, and looks slightly up at the camera with her mouth open Hotel room selfie :)
a panoramic view The view from Cetti Overlook, off the main road in Southwest Guam
a very green mountain Mt. Lam Lam, maybe, or at least a mountain peak near it.
a zoomed in photo of several dark birds with white heads in a tree I was very nervous standing under this tree... That's really all there is to say on the matter.
Annette, walking between a heart-shaped statue(?) and a tall christmas tree-like pile of hand-painted coconuts. In One of the stops on the drive Annette and I made around the island
a zoomed in photo of two people standing in shallow ocean water in the shade of some trees There are lots of chickens roaming the island. Also, we saw some cows in the road.
a small glass table facing windows with an ocean view My fancy Guam hotel room view where I spent a whole lazy afternoon.
a small lemon meringue Pretty dessert, yum!
another view of the beach, this time from a pool chair on a deck. My sandal-clad toes are visible at the bottom of the picture A morning reading spot. This whole experience was very indulgent! I'm glad Annette and I came out here early and that I picked a really nice spot to spend my time off.
